If you have been wondering which shade you need in the new NARS Afterglow Liquid Blush, this is the post for you. I have photos, swatches and all the info here.
What is NARS Afterglow Liquid Blush?
This new extension to the NARS Afterglow franchise is a lovely makeup and skincare hybrid. It is a lightweight and buildable liquid blush that offers 8 hours of hydration.
- Silky formula
- Lightweight, creamy texture
- Layers and blends without streaking
- Buildable pigment
- Infused with Sodium Hyaluronate for 8-hour hydration
- Delivers a natural looking glow
- Transfer-resistant
- Doe foot applicator
- Available in 6 shades
How to use it
You can customise the intensity of this blush depending on how you apply it. For a sheerer finish, apply the product to the back of the hand, and then use fingertips to tap it on and build to your desired finish.
For a more intense result, apply straight from the doe-foot to the skin and then blend and build.

My Review of NARS Afterglow Liquid Blush
First of all, I really like the packaging of these liquid blushers. I love the soft pink shade of the casing and the doe-foot makes application really easy.
It has a very fine, thin cream-gel consistency that blends into the skin seamlessly. It feels soft and hydrating on the skin and leaves a beautiful radiant, natural finish that makes the complexion look super healthy. It’s not overly dewy, but not matte either. They have a similar finish to the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wands (which aren’t matte either).
You can layer and build the formula, to get the flush you want and it’s easy to blend out. There’s no visible shimmer in any of the shades, perhaps with the exception of the Orgasm shade which has a fine golden shimmer running through it.
It sets down really well for good long wear and feels super light on the skin, so it’s a perfect summer product.
