I’m not entirely sure it was worth doing the lip swatches because they are all very similar, but I did them anyway!
My Review of Milk Makeup Kush Lip Oil
I knew I’d like these lip oils from Milk because I love their lip products and am already a big fan of the Milk Makeup Odyssey Lip Oil Gloss – see swatches via this link.
This is a sheerer, clearer formula, much less about colour and much more about comfort and shine. As you will notice from the lip swatches, the difference in colour between the shade variations is minimal, so you may want to make your selection based on flavour rather than colour.
I found that I liked all the flavours and none of them were overpowering. They are just the right level of flavoured I think. Green Dragon is lovely and minty and Chocolate Cake is softly sweet. I think those two could be my favourites.
The large doe-foot picks up a generous amount of product so it’s really quick and easy to apply.
The texture is super comfortable and feels instantly soothing on the lips. Each shade gives the lips a brilliant shine, however, I don’t find this quite as long lasting as the Odyssey Gloss, which I think is more impressive in terms of staying power.
All in all, I think this is a super fun launch and if you love a clear shiny lip with the softest hint of colour, these will certainly tick the boxes. If you want something with more colour that lasts a bit longer on the lips, I’d got for the Odyssey Gloss. The shade Werk Trip* is my favourite.
